12 Nov La Madonnina Farm
Located on the site of an ancient Roman villa, the guest farmhouse boasts an important past, demonstrated by the discovery in the 19th century of a large mosaic composed of black and white marble tesserae, now kept at the Archaeological Museum of Parma.
The beauty of the barn on whose site the guest farmhouse now stands is preserved in the stone and terracotta of the walls, which speak more eloquently than a thousand words.
Just as the building reflects local traditions, the cuisine is based on seasonal produce and local specialties: deli meats, cheeses, tortelli, torta fritta.
The rest – jams, mostardas, grape syrups, preserves of different kinds – are perfect for the guests’ breakfast and ideal for tourists looking for products to take home at the end of their trip.
